Day 1. Amarbayasgalant monastery
This is one of the most well-known and largest monasteries of Mongolia, it is located in the beautiful Iven Gol River valley on the foot of Burenkhan Mountain in Baruun buren village of Selenge province. Visitors especially enjoy the magnificent art and architectural construction. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomadic family. /Lunch, Dinner/
Day 2. Orkhon mountain
In the morning drive to Orkhon mountain in Bulgan province of Mongolia. It is located about 85km directly west of Bulgan city. Then we will drive to Erdenet city which is second big city. You can hiking in the mountain. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomadic family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/
Day 3. Ugii lake
On the way you will visit Khushuut Tsaidam, a famous culture – historical site where many statues of ancient Turkish Empire were found. The KhoshoTsaidam Turkic monuments are made up of four memorial complexes, including those erected in honor of Bilge Khan, a famous politician of the Eastern Turkish Empire and KulTegin, commander-in-chief of the Turkic armed forces and younger brother of Bilge Khan . The KhoshoTsaidam memorials are the most important known archaeological remains of the Turkic Empire, which extended across Central Asia in the 6th -8th centuries AD. The unique information presented in the inscriptions on the steles located here has proven extremely valuable to the study of Central Asian history and culture; in addition, the memorial sites have supplied particular insight into the world view, religious beliefs, architecture, arts, literary development and political relations of the early Central Asian peoples. Ugii Lake is one of the biggest lakes in Mongolia and located in the Arkhangai province. It has 25.7 km squire area, average depth is 6.64m, in some sections 15.3 m and coastal length is 24.7 km. It is very stunning place for bird watching, fishing and swimming. There are 150 sorts of extremely rare and protected species birds of passage come to settle down on the "Ugii" lake. Day 4. Tsenkher hot spa
Enjoy having hot spa bath and relax. Tsenkher Hot Spa is a natural hot spring flows out whole year from the ground at 85 Celsius degree, country's second hottest, in mountainous Central Mongolia. It is located 28 km south of Tsetserleg town in Arkhangai province and 22 km south west Tsenkher village. The spring comes out from far deep part of the ground and its water is not mixed with soil waters because it is hot. Also the spring is kept in high pressure under the ground flow rate is high, 10 liters per seconds. The water has high mineral content and containing everything from simple calcium, sodium to sulphuric. Folklore claimed medical value some of this springs have, they are often popular tourist destinations for Mongolian people. The spring produce water that is good for health reasons and water is effect for joints, nerve system and considered good for many other diseases. Day 5. Travel Tuvkhun temple
Travel to Tuvkhun Monastery. Tuvkhun monastery was built in 1653. The Tuvkhun monastey was built at Shireet Ulaan, the most beautiful scenery in Khangai mountains. Tuvkhun monastery is located in the densely forested and picturesque mountain Shivee at an elevation of 2000m above sea level. Tuvkhen monastery consists of a stupa, prayer wheels and 14 temples and orginally had about 20 lamas. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomad family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/
Day 6. Travel to Orkhon waterfall (Ulaan tsutgalan)
Travel to Orkhon waterfall. Orkhon waterfall ( Ulaan tsutgalan), is over 25 m high Ulaantsutgalan is the biggest waterfall in Mongolia and one of the most attractive destination in Orkhon river valley, UNISCO World heritage site The waterfall is located on the Orkhon River in Bat-Ulzii, Uvurkhangai province. Its width is about 10 m. The surrounding areas of the waterfall was formed by volcanic activities dated back approximately 20,000 years. When a smaller river named Ulaan (meaning Red) flows into Orkhon river the water drops over the edge with height over 25 and makes the waterfall. That is why, locals called it Ulaan tsutgalan which meaning Red's Flows. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomad family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/
Day 7. Visit waterfall and horse riding
Today you will ride Mongolian horses and do some warm up ride through wide open steppe. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomad family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/
Day 8. Kharakhorum and Erdenezuu
Visit Erdene Zuu monastery and Kharakhorum museum which was established in 2011. Kharakhorum is one of the most important attractions of Mongolia. The town is located about 370 km in the west of Ulaanbaatar, at the river Orkhon. The Kharakhorum was founded in 1220 by Genghis Khan and had been the capital of the Mongolian empire for 32 years. Erdene Zuu monastery is the most ancient Buddhist monastery inthe Mongolia. It is located in the Uvurkhangai Province. It is part of the World Heritage Site entitled Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape. The monastery was built in 1585 by Abtai Sain Khan, upon the introduction of Buddhism into Mongolia as the state religion. Stones and ruins of the Kharakhorum had been used to the construction. It is surrounded by a wall featuring 108 stupas, 108 being a sacred number in Buddhism, and the number of beads in a Buddhist rosary. Day 9. Elsen tasarkhai and Ulaanbaatar
Today we will travel to the Elsen Tasarkhai. Elsen Tasarkhai is small sand dunes, 80 km long, continuously lies in the lowland of legendary KhugnuKhaan and Bat Khaan mountains. Sand dunes represents landscape, climate & ecology of Gobi desert, in this region. You will have an opportunity for a camel ride trial next to the sand dunes.
