Itinerary

Day 1. Chinggis Khaan Statue and Khukh Nuur Lake.

In the morning we will be driving east side to the Khukh Nuur lake. On the way we will see the Chinggis Khaan Statue and continue driving to Khukh Nuur lake. Khukh Nuur is a beautiful lake where Temuujin was proclaimed as a Chinggis Khaan title and he was elected  for  The Great Khaan of all Mongolian tribes  in 1189. We will be visiting to the Khukh Nuur lake and  see the  wooden statues in the forest where the ceremony took place. The Khukh Nuur is quiet, peaceful and convenient for hiking & sightseeing. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomad family. /Lunch, Dinner/  


Day 2. Visit the Binder soum historically related to Chinggis Khaan

Drive to Binder and then on the way we will visit the Khangal Lake, and Dund Jargalant deer stone monuments. Fresh water lake in the eastern slope of Khentii mountain. There are 5 deer stones in a valley of Jargalant River at Omnodelger soum. Deer is described with long round-shaped swollen rump, short tail, long slim legs, snout like bird and horns like ornaments. These monuments belong to the 7-9th century. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomad family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/ 


Day 3. Legendary Birthplace of Chinggis Khan.

Today we will explore legendary birthplace of Chinggis Khaan in the Dadalsoum. Visit Chinggis Khaan monument, Gurvan Nuur Lake, Deluun Boldog and all these sites are very popular for history of Chinggis Khaan. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomad family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/


Day 4. Uglugch Kherem and Baldan Bereeven monastery.

 In the morning we will drive to Baldan Bereeven monastery. On the way we will visit Uglugch Kherem. Baldan Bereeven monastery located among beautiful picturesque mountains. The monastery was built in the 1700s and where around 7000 monks used to live and meditating  daily Buddhist activities. There are many interesting things to see around the monastery. Unfortunately most parts of the monastery were destroyed by communists in 1937. The wall has been built very carefully in higher places around the area. Chinggis Khaan had been lived near the wall for some time and there was some excavation of ancient burials sites near the wall.Stay overnight in a Ger of nomad family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/ 


 Day 5. The  Terelj National Park.

Drive to Terelj National park. Terelj National Park is located in the Khentii Mountains and are by its natural beauty and interesting rock formations. Terelj National Park consisted of forested alpine mountains and gigantic rock formations such as Turtle Rock, etc. It is the most popular tourist destination among the foreign and domestic tourists. The area of Terelj National Park is ideal for hiking, horseback riding, climbing, sightseeing view and photography. Stay overnight in a ger camp. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/  


Day 6.Ulaanbaatar

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. End of the service. /Breakfast, Lunch/
