Day 1. Travel to Terelj National park, Chinggis Khaan statue complex
In the morning we will travel to the Terelj National Park. Terelj National Park is located in the Khentii Mountains and are by its natural beauty and interesting rock formations. Terelj National Park consisted of forested alpine mountains and gigantic rock formations such as Turtle Rock, etc. It is the most popular tourist destination among the foreign and domestic tourists. The area of Terelj National Park is ideal for hiking, horseback riding, climbing, sightseeing view and photography . You will visit famous Turtle rock and Meditation temple . After lunch time, we will be heading to the Chinggis Khaan Statue complex. Chinggis Khaan Statue complex is located 60 kms from Ulaanbaatar, on the bank of the Tuul River, in a place called Tsonjin Boldog, where Genghis Khan had found a golden whip according to legend. 40 meter high statue on horseback was erected on a 10 meter high base, covered by stainless steel and surrounded by 36 columns. Those 36 columns are meant for the memorial of 36 kings intermarry from Genghis until Ligden Khaan. A recreation area, restaurants, souvenir shop and conference hall occupy the base structure. From here, visitors will ascend to the exhibitionhall using an elevator at the back of the horse.Stay overnight in a Ger of nomadic family./Lunch,Dinner/
Day 2.Travel to Elsen Tasarkhai /Semi Gobi/
Today we will travel to the Elsen Tasarkhai. Elsen Tasarkhai is small sand dunes, 80 km long, continuously lies in the lowland of legendary KhugnuKhaan and Bat Khaan mountains. Sand dunes represents landscape, climate & ecology of Gobi desert, in this region. You will have an opportunity for a camel ride trial next to the sand dunes. Day 3. Travel to Kharakhorum Travel to Kharakhorum. Visit Erdene Zuu monastery and Kharakhorum museum which was established in 2011. Kharakhorum is one of the most important attractions of Mongolia. The town is located about 370 km in the west of Ulaanbaatar, at the river Orkhon. The Kharakhorum was founded in 1220 by Genghis Khan and had been the capital of the Mongolian empire for 32 years. Erdene Zuu monastery is the most ancient Buddhist monastery inthe Mongolia. It is located in the Uvurkhangai Province. It is part of the World Heritage Site entitled Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape. The monastery was built in 1585 by Abtai Sain Khan, upon the introduction of Buddhism into Mongolia as the state religion. Stones and ruins of the Kharakhorum had been used to the construction. It is surrounded by a wall featuring 108 stupas, 108 being a sacred number in Buddhism, and the number of beads in a Buddhist rosary. The monastery was damaged by warfare in the 1680s, but it was rebuilt in the 18th century. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomadic family./Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/
