Itinerary

Day 1. Amarbayasgalant monastery

This is one of the most well-known and largest monasteries of Mongolia, it is located in the beautiful Iven Gol River valley on the foot of Burenkhan Mountain in Baruun buren village of Selenge province. Visitors especially enjoy the magnificent art and architectural construction. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomadic family. /Lunch, Dinner/


Day 2. Uran Togoo Mountain

It is Volcano Mountain in Bulgan province. We will discover the combination of an extinct volcano and beautiful nature. Uran Togoo volcano’s name came from its a bowl shape. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomadic family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/


Day 3. Murun city and Khuvsgul lake

Arrive to the Murun City, is the main gateway to Khuvsgul Lake, the famous “Blue Pearl of Mongolia.” After passing through Murun, travelers reach this pristine freshwater lake surrounded by taiga forest and mountains. Khuvsgul Lake is the largest and deepest lake in Mongolia, known for its crystal-clear water, rich wildlife, and peaceful atmosphere, offering a perfect introduction to the natural beauty and nomadic culture of northern Mongolia.Stay overnight in a Ger of nomadic family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/


Day 4. Khuvsgul lake

Stay in the Khuvsgul Lake, known as the “Blue Pearl of Mongolia,” is the largest and deepest freshwater lake in the country, containing nearly 1% of the world’s freshwater. Located at 1,654 meters above sea level and surrounded by taiga forest and mountains, the lake is famous for its crystal-clear water, rich wildlife, and untouched natural beauty, making it one of Mongolia’s most iconic destinations. Day 5. Tsagaan lake village

Arrive in Tsagaannuur Village, is a small settlement in northern Mongolia near the shores of Khuvsgul Lake. Surrounded by mountains, forests, and open pastureland, the village reflects the traditional lifestyle of local herders and serves as a starting point for exploring the pristine nature, wildlife, and scenic landscapes of the Khuvsgul region. Day 6,7 Trekking in Taiga

Experience trekking adventure through the pristine taiga forest of northern Mongolia. Riding across forested mountains, river valleys, and open meadows, you will enjoy untouched nature, observe local wildlife, and experience the traditional nomadic lifestyle. Day 8. Exploring Tsaatan community

Explore the unique lifestyle of the Tsaatan (Reindeer Herder) community, one of Mongolia’s smallest and most distinctive ethnic groups. Living deep in the taiga, the Tsaatan people maintain a centuries-old tradition of reindeer herding, shamanistic practices, and close harmony with nature, offering a rare and authentic cultural experience. Day 9. Trekking back to village

Enjoy a scenic trek back to the village through forests, mountain trails, and open pastureland. Day 10. Zuun Lake– Shine Ider

On this day, we are leaving the Khuvsgul lake (Blue pearl lake), we will stopover near Zuun Lake. On the way, we will enjoy the beautiful Mongolian scenery of mountain meadow and pine tree forest. Once we reach the destination, you will discover the surrounding, flora, animals and nomadic lifestyle. There you can have some time to record videos, pictures and hiking as well. Day 11. Great White Lake

After breakfast, we will drive to Great White Lake and Khorgo Volcano. Khorgo Volcano is surrounding lava field; this is over 200 meters tall extinct volcano dominates the area to the east of the Terkhiin White lake. From its west bottom side, stairs are leading up to the rim of the crater, a short 15-minute trek that leads to fabulous views on top. Its desolate surrounds are littered with black volcanic rocks – making it look like it's erupted more recently than the estimated over 10,000 years ago.Stay overnight in a Ger of nomadic family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/


Day 12. Travel to Tsenkher Hot Spa 

Enjoy having hot spa bath and relax. Tsenkher Hot Spa is a natural hot spring flows out whole year from the ground at 85 Celsius degree, country's second hottest, in mountainous Central Mongolia. It is located 28 km south of Tsetserleg town in Arkhangai province and 22 km south west Tsenkher village. The spring comes out from far deep part of the ground and its water is not mixed with soil waters because it is hot. Also the spring is kept in high pressure under the ground flow rate is high, 10 liters per seconds. The water has high mineral content and containing everything from simple calcium, sodium to sulphuric. Folklore claimed medical value some of this springs have, they are often popular tourist destinations for Mongolian people. The spring produce water that is good for health reasons and water is effect for joints, nerve system and considered good for many other diseases. Day 13. Khogno Khan Nature Reserve

Khogno Khan National Park (also Khugnu-Tarna) is a stunning, accessible reserve in central Mongolia's Bulgan Province, famous for its "Mini Gobi" landscape where desert dunes meet mountains, steppe, and forests, offering unique scenery and activities like camel riding, hiking to ancient monasteries (like Ovgon Khiid ruins), and experiencing diverse wildlife, all within a short distance from Ulaanbaatar. It's a protected area showcasing a rare mix of taiga and steppe ecosystems, featuring granite peaks, sand dunes (Elsen Tasarkhai), and historical Buddhist sites. Day 14. Ulaanbaatar
